Flipping turns a double-sided mattress over to its other sleeping surface. Rotating turns it head-to-foot while keeping the same side facing up. Many one-sided mattresses can be rotated but should not be flipped. Follow the manufacturer's care instructions for your model, including how often to flip or rotate it.
